Lisa Aherne is a singer blessed with an awesome vocal range and dexterity. Her ability to re-interpret and adapt material is unmatched. She breathes life into every song that she approaches with her haunting vocals and angelic presence.
To be able to make live and swing is no easy task but It’s one which Lisa does with aplomb.
Indigenous to Gneeves, Boherbue, in Duhallow County Cork, Lisa started singing at the very early age of three. The local church was the scene of some of her earliest performances. A versatile and multi-talanted vocalist, Lisa’s voice and delivery wonderfully compliments Liam’s musical virtuosity. Lisa’s musical tastes are wide ranging, a fan of everybody from Sarah Vaughan to Joni Mictchell, Lisa’s talent can really get to the heart and soul of the songs and the end result is thrilling.
Lisa has a Bachelor of Arts in French and History, with a H.Dip in Education from University College Cork.
She first started performing with Liam O’Connor in 1989 and their debut album ‘The Awakening’ was nominated for an IMRA award. Having performed on National TV and toured all over the world. Lisa continues to explore new musical avenues and genres.

Liam to judge World Series of Talent Finals in Las Vegas. The World Series of Talent (WSOT) brings together talent from all around the world. It takes place in The Edgewater / Colorado Belle Casino Resort in Las Vegas from the 11th to 18th of November. Liam has been chosen as a judge in the competition dedicated to the discovery, development and competition of singers, musicians, songwriters, bands, models, dancers, comedians, impersonators, artists, photographers and more... His experience in touring the world with Lord of the Dance and as a solo performer makes him an ideal judge. The main purpose for this international gathering is to provide everyone who participates, an enjoyable, unique, gratifying and affordable experience!! Liam's Concerto album nearing completion.
Liam's new album, recorded over the last two year with the RTE Concert Orchestra is to be released later this year. The album will feature an original Concerto specially composed for Liam by Oscar nominated Brian Byrne. After recording this Concerto over the last two years, the finishing touches are nearly there... Liam has always combined many genres of music in his recordings and performances and fusing classical with traditional is another step along his musical journey. Liam nominated for Irish Entertainment Award
April 2nd in the Tullamore Court Hotel is a huge night in the Irish Entertainment Industry with the announcement of the Irish Entertainment Awards at a star studded concert and awards ceremony. Liam has been nominated as Instrumentalist of the Year and will also perform on the night along side such lumaniries as Dickie Rock, Foster and Allen and Robert Mizzell.
